At The Client Space, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your customers.  To that effect, we have taken steps to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  

Below is a summary of the steps we take to comply with the GDPR for both customers of The Client Space (“customer”) and the customer’s users (“clients”):

  • The right of access by the data subject:
    The Client Space only collects information for use in the application only.  Address and contact information by customers of The Client Space is not sold or delivered to any third parties.  Data collected, including access information and user uploads, are stored only for delivery back to the user.  
  • The right to rectification:
    If for any reason the information we have on file is incorrect, please contact us. We will make every effort to correct any inaccurate information.
  • The right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’):
    Customers of The Client Space may request a full erasure of all data associated with the customer’s account, including all client data by making a request on our contact form. The Client Space currently provides the ability for a customer to delete all of a client’s files or for a client to delete all of their own files. For full erasure of all client logging and activity data, the customer will need to contact us.
  • The right to data portability:
    Customers already have the ability to download all of the files they have uploaded to their space, and, EU customers of The Client Space may request a copy of all of the data that has been collected at any time by filling out our contact form.  

    Clients of a The Client Space customer can also download all of their files via zip file at any time, which is a function already built into the platform.
  • Notification in the case of a data breach:
    In the event of a data breach, it is our responsibility to notify affected customers within 72 hours of discovering a breach.  We are required to describe the nature of the data breach, the categories and approximate number of data subjects concerned, the categories and approximate number of personal data records concerned, and the remedial actions taken.
